Partners

Hank meets Connor for the first time. He's in a bar and Connor buys him a drink, convincing him to go as well. Connor doesn't find the info he's looking for so Hank allows him to have five more minutes after he pleads. Connor locates the android perpetrator.

The Interrogation

Hank allows Connor to interrogate the suspect (he's baffled when Connor stops to look at the two-way mirror). The interrogation proceeds and Connor gets the android to admit what he needs from it. Gavin Reed threatens the android after the interrogation and then Connor when he tries to stop his abusive behavior. Hank interferes by pulling a gun on Gavin.

WAITING FOR HANK...

Hank returns to work to find Connor waiting for him. He's furious that Fowler gave him this case to investigate something he hates and doesn't understand, the deviant androids. He leaves the office to find Connor waiting to befriend him. He's both irritated but pleasantly confused as Connor insistently asks him about his dog and his hobbies. Eventually, irritation wins out and he shoves Connor against the wall.

ON THE RUN

A roaming AX400 is reported. She goes unfound. Hank is asked by another officer what he plans to do with the android (Connor). He says he has no idea.

The Nest

After Connor tries to befriend him at the Chicken Feed food truck again, they go to the next case. Hank's made uncomfortable by the sheer number of birds, and Connor is made to run after the deviant android. The deviant loops around on its run and shoves Hank off the roof. Connor stops chasing the deviant, but rescues Hank. For which he's grateful and his positive feelings build considerably.

Russian Roulette

Hank goes home and drinks and plays Russian Roulette until he's black-out drunk. Connor breaks in and forces him to prepare for another case with him. He washes him off with a cold shower and brings him some dry clothes.

The Eden Club

Hank goes to the Eden Club with Connor and questions the manager on the murder that occurred there. He tells him this is the second time he's had a problem with an android, the other being a similar model that ran off months earlier. Connor tracks the deviant and they close in on her. The deviant runs and her lover run. Hank approves of Connor allowing her to leave, sympathizing with her plight.

The Bridge

Troubled by the idea of androids falling in love and being capable of real emotions, Hank goes to sit in the play area where he would take his son. Connor meets him there, and Hank challenges Connor to face his own emotions and mortality. He pulls a gun on him, but realizing that Connor has a fear of death, doesn't shoot and leaves to think.

Public Enemy

They investigate the television tower. They find a deviant left behind after the transmission hijacking. Hank notices they left a parachute and Connor searches for a remaining deviant. They find him and he opens fire. Hank attempts to pull Connor behind cover, but Connor sprints to grab him. Connor witnesses the deviant's death while searching his memories, and is traumatized by it. Hank expresses increased concern for him.

Meet Kamski

Hank manages to wrangle a meeting with the first android designer, Kamski. Kamski asks Connor to shoot Chloe (one of his servant robots) in exchange for information. Hank tells him not to. Connor ultimately chooses Hank's side, which Hank approves of.

Last Chance, Connor

Hank discovers they are being taken off the case. When he realizes Connor will be sent back to Cyberlife for being unsuccessful, he throws his job away to provide a distraction for Connor by punching the federal agent who's taken charge.

Battle for Detroit

Hank is taken hostage by an alternate Connor. This Connor brings him to the Cyberlife building to stop the original Connor from deviating the other androids. The two Connors fight, and Hank manages to grab the gun. He asks them a series of questions only his Connor would know, except he ultimately chooses to shoot the one that shows less compassion in its correct answers. Connor is then free to liberate the androids.
